To the people that mentioned Planescape on the mailing list:

I love the setting, but have never played it. I cursed Wizard when they didn't right away port PS to 3.5, but it seems that has still been some porting done?

I'm interested if nothing else. Smile

Quite a bit has been done to update Planescape to 3.XE.

Check out this website:

. This is the official fan-created conversion.

In particular, you might want to check out this:

. This is the released chapters of the setting. (Note that some factions have been officially converted to 3.XE, in the Planewalker's Handbook I think it's called. That and the Manual of the Planes are great for the conversion.)

And finally, here is a list of all the monsters from the various compendiums and expansions, with either listings to official conversions (e.g., the Fiend Folio) or unofficial fan conversions:

(Note: not all of them have been converted to 3.5E. There might be a bunch that are 3.0E.)

Hope this helps!

I loved the setting as presented in Planescape: Torment (quite possibly the best CRPG of all time) but I'm not sure how true to the *real* setting that was. I enjoyed the interplay between the Sigil factions and the idea of planewaking though the PnP implications of being planewakers seems a tad overwhelming. Mostly just piping up to say that I'm interested as well.

I'll check out those links when I've got a bit more time. Thanks!

EN World seems to have some problems right now. Once they're back up, and assuming the database hasn't been lost, I'd suggest copying the entire thread with links and fan conversions.

Edit: Someone posted the file for me on another website. If anyone wants a copy, email me. (I can't seem to find a way to upload files here.) It's a 1.36MB text file.
