Dungeons & Dragons Online
This is not a review, this is just a tribute to the review I have yet to write...
Pros: No more grinding! You group, go on adventures, sure you'll do some more than once, but if you stick to playing one character it doesn't get repetitive.
Cons: It is time consuming. Like all other games in the genre, but the specific way they've done this game means that you'll need at least two hours every time you sit down to play - and sometimes more! Not healthy unless you have nothing better to do.
Pros: Game balance works very well at the early to mid-levels. Pen and paper D&D gets a bit screwed up at high levels, but maybe that will work in a computer game.
Cons: No monks, no druids, no gnomes. I hope they will come in the first big expansion.
I am working on a blog on the game, but I just wanted to hear, if anyone else here plays or intends to?
