I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, we mean this is the nearest one that was optainable. There are others but this one we found out the location from the oracle. Can you help us with finding/aquiring this item? He smiles as you speak and doesn't look very convinced but nods none the less and replies.
"It may be that I can and it may be that I cannot. If the item you seek is in the possession of one of the students or faculty, I will send them to you and the business is between the two of you, the school need not get involved. But if the item you seek is in the possession of the Tower, there is little I can do to help you." He stands and turns around and carefully starts leafing through a huge book of names. He continues, "I will see who has it or if your Oracle is mistaken. Where did you say you were from again?"

I come from a small town near Eines Mien (true). Why do you ask? _________________ Famous Fanwar last words: "I think that's the answer to the riddle." ; "oh s h i t" ; "lets go right for a change" ; "He doesn't look to tough." ; "just smash it open!" ; "Chris I'm opening the door." |

He doesn't look up from his book but says over his shoulder,
"I behooves one to be informed. I was just wondering if you represent anyone. Who is it that you have been sent by?"

Ranger roleplay: I wasn't sent by anyone I came on my own acord(sp?). But I started my journey from pinacle.
[chris can I have a discription of the room we are in if it is a different one and also a species lore description of the guy we are talking to and how big is the book he has. Also where did he get it from? Was it from a big collection of books or was it alone (as in a record book of students or magic items)] _________________ Famous Fanwar last words: "I think that's the answer to the riddle." ; "oh s h i t" ; "lets go right for a change" ; "He doesn't look to tough." ; "just smash it open!" ; "Chris I'm opening the door." |

Description of the room: The entrance hall to to Dradri-Nuir is all stone, very high ceilings with many archways done mostly in white marble. He is standing behind a lard marble desk, on a dias, so that he is at least 10 feet above you. You have to crane your neck to look up at you (thus all the descriptions of him looking down at you). He appears (you can't see up there very well) to have produced the book from the desk infront of him but the desk is more like a bankers desk and doesn't allow you to see behind it. He appears to have a table behind him but you can't see it and have no idea how many books he has on it or what they are like, you only see the one he is holding. You species lore is of little use here. He is high level mage and you knew that already. I have told you what levels he looks to be already because you are both high level and would notice those things and I already accounted for your species lore.
He looks over his shoulder at you,
"Pinicle aye. So your from an independent nation. Interesting..." He looks at Talys. "Are you a student at Pinicle my lady?"

Hello Tyson, Marcus, Seb and Jake:
You set out for Icashi, leaving a city that is verging on Civil War and has a mild illness running through it. You hope you haven't caught the desease which causes extreem dibilitating pain, though little else.
You head down the road and avoid several encounters because you are on the main road. Travel is swift and easy at first. You encounter a group of skelletons resting but they do not attack you so you leave them alone. You think everything is going great when suddenly Marcus sees on the horizon a bunch of Phraint Knights which look to be headed in your direction. Luckily they have not spotted you yet and you hurry on to an outcropping of rock. The Phraints pass by but you get a good look at them and they didn't look friendly and looked high level!
Much furhter on you encounter three journeymen Hill Giants who attack you on site, but you make short work of them.
You stop off in an unnamed trading post and a storm hits. You are all taking 1 damage if you have no cloaks. You continue through the storm after getting supplies and then suddenly are ambushed by a Giant right as a bolt of lightning streaks across the sky, blinding all of you. Seb gets hit for 6 UB and Jake takes 12 UB (6 each from two boulders). When your vision clears you see three young Hill Giants much like the ones you killed earlier but they look confused and are not attacking. As you make ready to attack them one of them cries out "Oh no! These aren't Goblins! Their Hobbits! What have I done!" He seems genuinly upset. After some discussion with the Giants you realise that they are actually good Giants who mistook you for Goblins and Orks in the storm and meant to ambush you. They are very appologetic and offer to excort you the rest of the way to Icashi as repayment for the damage they have done. They prove to be very good guards even though they are only first level because few things will approach you. The rest of the journey is uneventful except that when you get to Icashi you see that it is mostly in flames! A hige fire has engulfed the city and people are struggling to put it out. The Giants run in to try to put out the flames and pour barrels of water on things. What do you guys do?
