I say to him "My friend and I are looking to acuire an Item and were told that it is in this wonderous place. Also I wanted to come here for some time now to look upon this magnificent structure. Could you help us find what we are seeking for?" marcus, you were in my party, right? if so you know my plan. all they know (i think) is that its a crown of the inner eye. offer a trade or whatever, but keep in mind that they don't know it's all that special. after all, crowns of the inner eye "can be found in many old keeps". if they find out what it could be then they'll either make it harder to get (which we'll deal with) OR they'll refuse and try to get the third crown themselves. i'd say the later since i think they're primarily storm mages. also, i wouldn't sound to desperate to get that particular one or anything...
so i'd go with "we understand that you may have a crown of the inner eye,(careful if they ask where we heard that) we are in need of one of those (because we like oracle or something...). would you be willing to trade or sell it? (acctually, carefull about pulling a sorikonia on that one... so "we'd ike to aquire it" maybe)"
you may have thought of all this but i just wanted to make sure.

and then sparky, brick, nicks nameless night and bwenathor crash thru the wall and kill every thing!!! just kidding! any way im here to tell u all about nick and austins CRAZY ASS WORLD! as of late nick and austin have come up w/ some very umm.. crazy ideas. (a jedi knigh class and those tripods) so we have decided to run an event wich will featue all their crazy ass ideas and other things. so far their world is one where the only rule is THERE ARE NO RULES! i actually think that it would be a nice break from the usual tum-te-do-dum go kill the dark city, do-de-dum-la-te-da fine the crowns of the inner eye and stuff. i dont no when we would do it or when but i was thinking like every 3rd or 4th sebastopol could be a CRAZY event. and of course it would all be for fun! _________________ GOD WILLS IT!!!! |

Marcus:
The apprentice looks at you carefully.
"This is a school for mages, not a magicians shop of trinkets. People come here to learn the subtle art of Magic. If that is your aim, you may apply to the school as any other pupil. However, if you are here to AQUIRE a certain item I don't know that we can be of any service to you. What is this famous item?"

well through my studies as a mage I have come upon a very interesting item. This Items name is the crown of the inner eye. I have been trying to study one so I had some nature mages oracle where one is, this was so I could acuire this item to study its qualities. Would you know of such an item? [if I am being tested for the truth some how it is all true to my knowledge]. _________________ Famous Fanwar last words: "I think that's the answer to the riddle." ; "oh s h i t" ; "lets go right for a change" ; "He doesn't look to tough." ; "just smash it open!" ; "Chris I'm opening the door." |

I nod. "We realize that our request is a bit... unconventional. According to what we have found, though, this establishment is the only place that contains one of these Crowns... at least, the only place we could safely reach. It's more a matter of convenience than anything else. If there is something we could do to make up for our lack of protocol in this endeavor, we are willing." _________________ "Use your brain, or I'll use it for you." -Enyalie |

"I am suprised to find that Dradri-Nuir is the only location that has a crown of the inner eye." He says and peers down at both of you from his high desk with not a little suspician.
"As I recall, Grisodemdall fasioned many of the crowns and they were quite common for some time. Am I to believe that Dradri-Nuir now contains the only remaining crown of the inner eye that is easily obtainable. Well, well now. That would make it quite valuable." He waits expenctantly.
