sorry cora I was an impulse thing that we went for the nearest crown that didn't seem dangerous. Chris are we not allowed in or have we tried or anything to that extent? Is it a mage only place because I am a necromancer.
Also my palidan Hiro is teleporting to pinacle by any way he can (he has the budget if that is what is a problem). _________________ Famous Fanwar last words: "I think that's the answer to the riddle." ; "oh s h i t" ; "lets go right for a change" ; "He doesn't look to tough." ; "just smash it open!" ; "Chris I'm opening the door." |

Okay, guys. Bad news: On my way to the party, I got jumped by some Guildmaster lion mutants, one of which was a thief, and got Looted.
Good news: The only things I had on me were 5 Autorebirth scrolls and the Sword of the White Magus, which turned out to be a replica anyway (fucking Goblin). Also, the lions seemed to not want to do too much to me, but they couldn't control themselves. Feral nature or something, I dunno. Anyway, they left me a Spirit Burn Blade as a trade! Also, I am now with the party. Woohoo! _________________ "Use your brain, or I'll use it for you." -Enyalie |

About getting looted:
Getting looted is never a lucky thing. Getting something out of it is. I suspect that your experience with getting "ass raped, looted, and devoured!" has more to do with the GMing or the player who is the theif, then with luck at all.

Nym would have let you know what city they were teleporting to so that you could go with. (i'm pretty sure it was spiregaurd) It was free to teleport if you were a mage student (which you obviously are) and would cost a quarter of Nym's weekly guild funds if you were not. Nym will also tell you which direction the path pointed, but from there she wouldn't know where they were unless they sent a message back.
Wherever you want to teleport Nym will use guild funds for if she can and if it is too far she can stack on her extra levels to teleportation. (she is level 27) _________________ Nell |

It's fine, I already got there. I teleported to Spireguard, Oracled about where the party was, and caught up with them. _________________ "Use your brain, or I'll use it for you." -Enyalie |

Okay, since nobody's doing anything, I guess I will.
I walk up to the gate with the friendliest demeanor possible. (I'm assuming there's someone manning the gate, since the wagons somehow get through.) "Hail! I was passing by, and I couldn't help but notice that you seem to be preparing some Elder Sorcery. Might there be something I could assist with?" I'm making it very obvious that I'm a high-level mage (all my spellstones visible, etc.) _________________ "Use your brain, or I'll use it for you." -Enyalie |

Hello Cora:
Shortly a human descends a long winding staircase from one of the towers and comes to the gate but does not open it. It is obvious the gate is magical, and has some kind of elder sorcery in it. He looks at you through the gate and says,
"Don't lie. It doesn't suit you."
He waits patiently on the opposite side of the gate.

This rollplay is probably best done on AIM. If you are on now I will try a bit. Otherwise, catch me later.
P.S. If other people want to multi-chat rollplay I have Trillian so I think I can do that.

Ok I walk up to the gate and ask "may I come in and if not I would like to know the reason I cannot proceed." Hello Marcus:
The doorman looks you over. He nods and says, "Were you ever not permitted to enter. If you wish to enter Stormwatcher Tower, you may do so."

(Whoops, silly me for assuming things. )
I sigh. "So much for diplomacy. In truth, I am here for more selfish reasons. I am still willing to help with Elder Sorcery, however, if my services are needed. Perhaps as an exchange..." (This is all true.)
Turning to Raedric, "Shall we enter?" _________________ "Use your brain, or I'll use it for you." -Enyalie |

The doorman steps aside and lets you in. He takes you to the center tower which looks like the main building. The complex has the usual five smaller towers, one for each school, but the main tower, stormwatcher tower, is in the center and is easily 600 feet tall! It dwarfs all the others and is grey. The doorman takes you to through the massive entrance and brings you before a tall, black-haired human with a Magus Staff. He looks like he is one of the assistance teachers to the school and is perhaps 30th level or so (Storm, Necro- some Life). He says,
"What brings you to Dradri-nuir fellow mages?"
What do you do?
P.S. I have to reboot so if you want to AIM this, it will take a minuet.
