|
Freakaliciously of course. As soon as I receive all of the information requested I will post bios of all the gods. As a reminder I would like the following:
1. Dogma-personal philosophy
2. Religion-followers philosophy
3. Tenets-followers rules
4. Domains-areas of expertise to be applied to arcane/divine spell casting
5. Legendary item-special item that could be bestowed upon a character
6. Totem animal(s)-may be more than one but no more than three*
7. Races-I would prefer to get names, physical descriptions, and likely location i.e. forest, mountain, river, ect.
And something new:
Each god may choose one race with the special quality of increased level advancement in a specific class. Halfling, Fey, and Ogre have already been chosen, races still available are: Giant, Elves, Dwarves, and Gnomes. Rogue, Sorcerer, and Paladin have also been chosen, other suggested classes are: Monk, Mage, or Barbarian.
Example of level increase: Tati's chosen race is the Arvid, winged halflings with a natural affinity for the rogue class. When they train to become a rogue, they increase 2 lvls for every 1 lvl of experience, but if they choose to train in an other class they gain 1 rogue lvl for every 2 lvls of their other class, as they still tend to use their natural rogue abilities(subconsiously of course).
*Quinn is the exception here as she can claim all animals as her totem. _________________ Be freakalicious....enough said. |

I think mine are fey, can you do me a favor and type a list of fey stuff (in the back of the monster manual) so I can put it in my description for the races? Thanks Tony! _________________ Princess Stephanie of the Unicorns

mine are elves =P
I apologize in advance if any of this doesnt agree with what you have worked out. I've been working directly with the leaders of the fire races that's why I figure I have a say in the organizational structure =P
the elven society deals with both swords and magic, and depending on the aptitude shown at a young age tend to focus more on one side or the other.
If a male child has a higher Strength/Constitution bonus than Charisma/Intelligence, he will have an edge in the path of the Hexblade (complete warrior). If the reverse is true, he will have an edge in the path of the Warmage (complete arcane).
If a female has a higher Dexterity/intelligence bonus than Charisma, she will have an edge in the path of the Lurk (complete psionic). If the opposite is true, she will have an edge in the path of the Shugenja (complete divine), with the rule that she must take the elemental focus of Fire.
Character Creation
Roll a D%
On a 75% or less roll for a male, the bonuses are +3 str +3 dex -4 wis -2 cha
On a 76% or better roll, the bonuses are +4 cha +4 int -2 wis -4 con, and they have black skin with white hair and red softly glowing eyes.
Charr males tend to be brash and to the point, with little patience for thinking things through. Impulse is the name of the game, and they often create enemies among non-fire races due to the fact that they will follow their passions even at the cost of other people if needed. Most of the race seem to be more suited for strife than others by birth and while they are as beautiful as any, have little patience for social skills. These are taken into the Crimson Blades (Hexblades). Those who are more suited for the ruling class are taken into the Council of Elders and trained in the mysteries of the Warmage. A male is free to take his own path after attaining maturity (100 years of age).
On a 75% or less roll for a female, the bonuses are +3 dex +3 int -4 con -2 str
On a 76% or better roll, the bonuses are +6 cha +4 int -4 con -4 str and they have black skin with white hair and red softly glowing eyes.
Charr females tend to be more introspective than the males, and the large majority also tend to be naturally devious. The Scarlet Ember lays its claim to most of the Charr females, and the leadership of said organization changes from month to month as one female's power struggles topple another's. The Scarlet Ember is the primary ruling class, although they are not the true power behind the Empire of Flames. No, the true power lies in the hands of a few select females and males, making up the Council of Elders. Again, a female is free to take her own path after reaching maturity (100 years of age)
All Charrs get certain spell-like abilities that can be activated as a standard action. The save DC is equal to 1/2 the hit dice of the caster plus their Charisma modifier. The caster level is equal to one-half the hit dice of the caster. In order to use a spell-like ability, a Charr must be of at least the same level as the spell. They are all supernatural abilities. (All spells were taken from the Spell Compendium)
At-will:
Blades of Fire (pg. 31)
Combust (pg. 50)
3/day:
Darkfire (pg. 59)
Balor Nimbus (pg. 24)
Explosive Cascade (pg. 85)
Fire Wings (pg. 93)
Fires of Purity (pg. 94)
1/day:
Fireburst (pg. 93)
Fireward (pg 94)
Righteous Fury (pg. 177)
Charr is a level adjustment +2 race
(how's that for a start?) _________________

woot! they look cool. maybe it would be easier for the dm to see relative power levels if you organized a chart like they have for the half celestial. _________________ Princess Stephanie of the Unicorns
