Okay, since we were clogging up the other threads with random posts, I thought it was time to create one for discussion of anything related to FanWar.
Something that's been bothering me is the sudden creation of all these classes. It's true, Chris did just put up a page about making them, and I did make one myself. However, the fact remains that there is only one playtest left before the new season. If people wanted their classes (or worlds) in the game so badly, why didn't they consult with Chris before now? I had made my Monk nearer to the beginning, and that's why I think it has a better chance of being brought into the game this year. Now, I'm not saying that nobody should ever make new classes. In fact, I admire everyone's creativity. I just think that people should wait until next year to try to implement their ideas. That way, they get plenty of time to show it to people, get opinions, etc. Then, by the time it actually gets considered, it's been tweaked, improved, and readied.
That's my two cents, but feel free to talk about anything you want in here! |

yeah me and nick made some new classes, but they would only be in our world (if we ever use it, lol) and we got a real artist (Michal Coy) to draw all the pics for our world its really cool he's drawn us some pics and wow they are good!! and idk know if u have looked but in my last post about my world, me and nick want to run our world NEXT NEXT year the 06-07 season. that will give us time to tweak our world so it can be cool. not retarded... and cora call me we need to figure out rides to get up to st. helina!

Ah, why didn't you say so? Okay, that's different. I thought you were trying to squeeze your world in this year. In that case, I have no objections. Good luck!
Sorry, I can't go to the playtest on the 18th. My parents thought it was going to be the first Saturday of the month, so they bought tickets to Cirque du Soleil. |

we when we first came up with our world we wanted that but like 20 seconds later we realized we couldn't do it. and this way we are going to shove every thing that doesn't get accepted into wade/clay/bobo's world into our world. that way EVERY one is happy! and have fun at Cirque du Soleil. too bad u cant go. ill have to show you what we have written dwon some other time!

|
|
Hello all:
As I said in the Discussion thread, I think running your own event in Sebastopol during the week would be a good idea. I will even let you use some of my equipment if you need to. However, I think it should be very small (geographically- one small town) and put it in Roekron. I will supply you with the basic plot and you guys can bring it to life. I would like Cora to run it innitially, but if she has no time, someone else might be able to handle it. Let's discuss this at the Playtest (Cora I will talk with you privately since you won't be there).

Huh? It looks the same to me. I haven't looked at it in a while, though, so I could be wrong. |

Hello all:
The map has not changed since the end of last season. It does not reflect anything your characters took on for the winter season. The new map (25 years later) will be posted at the start of the season the 1st of March.

Hey Chris, quick question.
When we start next season, are you going to post the plot leads for both worlds on the website? |

You sure like invasions, don't you? Well, it's true, they can be quite fun. As long as you're on the winning side, of course. I hope I can send Talys back into the fray at some point.
If you made your world perpetually at war, that'd be pretty interesting. At least it might get PCs to not travel all over the map... |
