Hello all:
I am planning on making some changes to FanWar in the coming weeks so please take note and come with your comments. I am planning on swapping out normal FanWar events for Junior League (since I can't do any extra events at this point). The plan will be to do one week of Adult League FanWar (what we usually do) and the next week, Junior League. Keep in mind that Junior League still effects Roekron, older players can still play, and characters from Adult League can transfer. The schedule would look like this...
This week September 13th (Adult League)
Next week Sept. 20th (Junior League)
Following week Sept. 27th (Adult League)
First week of October, Oct. 4th (Junior League)
This would continue through October until the end of the season. Thought?

Are the Junior League Events still going to be in Ukiah? It seems like most of the kids are in either Palo Alto or Napa, so I don't know how many would even show up... I was thinking you could do them on Saturdays, like we did last weekend, only longer. Maybe one month's Saturday is Adult League, and the next month's is Junior League? _________________ "Use your brain, or I'll use it for you." -Enyalie |

I think junior league is a great idea, but we don't have many young players in Ukiah, at least not ones that don't understand normal fanwar. And, it's getting near the end of the season and there aren't many events left. We ahve important things going on with our high level characters that we should do in the time we have left. I know the events efect roekron, but I think that since we don't have a great demand for junior fanwar in Ukiah that we should keep the schedule how it is and start junior league next season or by special demand when there aren't pre-scheduled fanwar events. _________________ Nell |

you can dip your high level charicters into junior fanwar, take my pally for example, he would have jumpstart, spell turning, charge and martail arts when i use him in junior leauge, the lack in elder sorcery could be a drag but it could also be a good thing as well. _________________ -James- |

Thanks for the notes:
There is a HUGE demand for Junior League FanWar in Ukiah! I just don't let those kids play. You should see how many kids at my school want to come! Furthermore, several of the younger players who do Adult League right now might enjoy Junior League more anyway. We lost some players this year because of the complexity too, they might come back for Junior League.
Regarding just doing Junior League on the weekends or on a different day. I am already doing it on the weekends when people request it, but doing it on another day of the week is out because I am already book solid. If it is going to happen during the week it would have to be on a regularly schedule Thursday.
What about the Third Thursday of the month... that would make it once a month during the week, plus whenever people organize it on the weekends.

Once a month sounds okay, I guess.
Also, James: That's another thing we have to think about, whether characters in Junior League can multiclass. Since there's only two tiers, you'd effectively be getting half the skills of a class just by putting one level into it. Maybe there should be a rule that you have to get to Tier 2 in one class before going up another? _________________ "Use your brain, or I'll use it for you." -Enyalie |

that makes sense, i was talking to chris on sunday afternoon and he was saying multiclassing would much harder to do with a junuir leauge charicter than for a regular leauge charicter. _________________ -James- |

Pretty sure it's Junior League. Chris said there was something big happening in Celendil last week that he wanted to have lots of people for. _________________ "Use your brain, or I'll use it for you." -Enyalie |

Sorry guys, I got grounded until next week, so I won't be able to make it to Fanwar this Thursday or this weekend. If you need me for something, please give me a call. _________________ "Use your brain, or I'll use it for you." -Enyalie |

I cannot do next weeks FanWar, so unless one of the veterans wants to run it, it is going to be canceled. Are any of the FanWar veterans interested in the running some stock missions and dungeons?

Hello All:
Just a few updates.
Junior League FanWar is ONLY on the third Thursday of the month (not every other week). Also, Junior League is going to be run differently. There will be no transferring characters to Junior League, everyone will have to be Journeymen etc. The focus is suppose to be on the younger players and making it fun for them.
Also, since I haven't heard from any of the FanWar veterans who want to run the event this week, it is canceled until further notice.
