Picture Day:

We have FanWar tomorrow the 15th at Low Gap and it will be Picture Day! Bring your costumes, your cool weapons, etc. We will be taking lots of photos for the new rulebook so dress to suit. Yes, we will also being doing adventures since me missed last week.

Willits is having its (mostly) Annual Rennaisance Faire on August 1st and 2nd at the main Park up here in Willits
Take 101 into town, and turn East on Commercial- the park is to the right off the street

Since we are using this build day as a picture day does that mean the book isn't going to the Printer yet and we can play-test endure?

There is a misprint on the calendar that I am fixing now that says that tomorrow, July 22nd is only from 4:30-6:30. It is actually an all day event, from 10am to 6:30pm so don't miss out! Hope to see you all there, we will be down at the covered picnic area.

Tuesday Canceled?

Hello all FanWar Players:

I just discovered that I have a class I must attend to complete my teaching credential that is all day this Tuesday until 4:00pm. Tuesday is scheduled to be a Build Day. Do people want to still get together, without me, and Build etc. and I can show up at 4:30 to run some adventures, or should we cancel it? I also might be able to reschedule it, perhaps to Wednesday if this works for everyone.

This brings up an important second subject. I may need to reschedule the day that FanWar happens after school for the fall. It looks like my BTSA classes will be on Tuesdays, and though they are only once a month, I would rather not have to skip an event every month. Wednesday is best for me, but does it work for everyone else? Please send me the days you could do it so I can select the best one. Thanks.

I just registered for classes and, as much as i tried to avoid it ended up with a night clas on wednesdays. So if I continue to be bobo's ride then we wont be able to make it wednesdays.

Tuesdays stand:

I have checked my BTSA schedule and with the exception of 8/5 and 8/26 I should have no other Tuesday conflicts so Tuesdays stand for the rest of the year. I have moved the two above Tuesdays to the following Wednesdays. For more information go to the the Calendar on the fanwar website.

Hello all FanWar players:

This is just an update to inform you all that FanWar has been rescheduled this week from Tuesday August 5th, to Wednesday August 6th. We will still be at Low Gap, at the covered area, and we will still be doing a Build with some adventures after.

Second of all, I want to inform you of a Special FanWar event for the end of Summer Season. The last full day event on a Tuesday is on August 12th. It is scheduled to be a full day of adventures, and will be, but the location has changed for this Summer Finale. Instead of Low Gap, we will be at Mill Creek Park, on Mill Creek Road, outside or Talmage in the hills. The area is known as Three Dams, as it does have three small resevours. I have reserved the Park just for us and as it is more expensive then Low Gap, I hope that we get a big turnout for this special event. The park is densely wooded, very shady, with a playground and a winding creek, spring water for drinking, and tons of tables etc. The big disadvantage to Mill Creek Park is that it is a bit out of the way (tiny one lane road sometimes) and their is a LOT of poison oak in certain locations (so make sure to note where those places are before you take off into the woods. See you all there, and remember to dress for outdoor exercise, with long pants, good shoes (preferably with no laces this time of year to avoid the burs). See you soon.
