I was wondering if anyone but me has noticed that people don't describe their characters while in game. PC's are taken for example as thats Brick or Squishface, but no one really knows what they look like. So i was wonderin if people would be interested in writing descriptions for how their characters look in game, you know, normal stuff like hair, eyes and so on and so forth.

Well, my ranger is a cobben he has a dark brown mane (I think that is how it is spelled) and brown eyes. his horns are little and curled a bit. He is rugged looking because he is a ranger and hangs out in the forest alot. His name is radraic (pronounced r^a^d-ric).

YES! I agree whole heartedly, I believe that this is very important as lately the game has become mechanical. Too much is focused on the technicalities of the game. As for my characters, My Saurge is a beefcaked desert saurge Veteran/Barbarian who has many tribal tattoo's that bleed into the designs on his custom plated saurge chain maille armor. he is covered with scarred and cracked scales, his eyes are a pale blue, and his name is Yggdrasil (pronounced Ygdr^AA^siil). My Dwarf (the one that is NOT at morganti 0) appears as a dirty scruffy dwarf Journyman with a long beard and hair with leaves and twigs and such in there, wearing bits of leather armor with pieced together bracers. He is so far known as Scruffy. My other dwarf is an odd looking one who has a shaved head and beard with the word REPENT tatood on his forehead and is a Necro. he is dressed in black and red robes. His known name is Timmy (yes he's the one at morganti 0). And my final playable character is Beowulf, A size 4 human who looks like he spends too much time exercising and/or drinking (mmmmmmm mead). wow once again alot of rambling, srry. but the point is character description is lacking, for example Talis, one of the more famous characters, no clue what she looks like other than she is human. Nim? a hobbit.... ect. when one says what do we see don't give a name, thats not what you see!!!, give a brief description unless your two charachters know each other well. Kind of on the same note when players are in town don't bother asking if players are PC's or NPC's, not only should the person not respond but it doesn't matter! too often players respond differently to NPC's than they do to PC's. A CHARACTER IS A CHARACTER!!. All right I'm done.

Talys is a middle-aged human woman. She is of an average height, about 5'7'' or so, and has a slight, willowy build. Her hair is dark brown, and when not put into a bun, hangs slightly past her shoulders. She has a round face, with soft features. Her eyes go from green to hazel depending on her mood. She has a blackened, jagged wound on her right arm above the shoulder, and another on her left arm, which hangs limp by her side when not secured to her torso. She also has a large gash running up the right side of her ribcage. She normally keeps these wounds covered with bandages and clothing, since they can never close. She wears a simple, short white robe, with green edging. A large symbol of Pelor is etched into the back. She has a pouch that hangs from her cloth belt; it holds her scrolls, potions, money, and trusty spellbook. She also has another, smaller pouch to hold her many spellstones.

My flame mage (Sparky) : rarely wears clothes, there is no soul in his left leg, so he either flies or limps, short brown hair, and all he uses is a simple staff to burst heads.

I love this thread! Really great. I think the reason I didn't think of it before was because in most LARP's you look like you look. FanWar is a bit different so this is good. Keep it up! I agree with Doug that the game has gotten a bit Mechanical of late, until the last event which had some great Rollplaying... I think the scenery helps.
