Hey Jay (and others!)

I was thinking that you might like this book when you were describing the Napoleonic Fantasy thingie to me the other day. It's an awesome book, I think, really well written with great dry humor and an interesting story. Oh yeah, it's also really long at 1000 pages. That is a plus rather than a minus for me, as long as it's well written. Here is a link to an amateur review that someone posted on a book discussion forum:
