Special Rules
As a Paranormal Critter type, all Shapeshifters begin play with a Magic Attribute of 1/6, and an Essence Attribute of 8. As with all paranormal critters, the Magician, Mystic Adept or Adept qualities must be purchased separately in order to make use of magical skills, cast spells, etc.
New: Bestial Nature
All Technical and Vehicle, and all Social Skills (except Intimidate) cost 1.5 x normal cost for purchase with Karma or BP.
General Creation Rules
Shapeshifters need only spend points once on physical attributes. Points spent are based on their humanoid form only, and these are modified by transformation into animal form. Shapeshifter characters may spend more than 5000 nuyen during character creation. All other point limits remain unchanged from regular characters.
