About the Barony of Vinhold! (stolen directly from their poor, innocent site, hehe)

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is a non-profit educational organization which focuses on life during the time period between 600 AD and 1600 AD. The primary focus of the organization is on European medieval life, but many people elect to study the Middle East and the Far East.

Members of the SCA learn to recreate life in the Middle Ages through 'hands-on' applications. We make soap, candles, armor, garb (clothing), jewelry, weapons, shoes, pavilions (tents), and many other things.

We are the local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism for Napa, Southwestern Solano and Eastern Sonoma Counties in California. This is not the official SCA website. If you want to visit them, go to

or come to our monthly meeting at the Round Table Pizza on Solano Avenue in Napa. Meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month, starting promptly at 7:30 pm and are followed by mayhem.
